Our Practice Areas
We represent everyday people in serious injury cases in the practice areas described below.
Human Trafficking and Sexual Assault
If you or your child experienced sexual assault or human trafficking by anyone associated with a nonprofit organization, church, or commercial business, you may be entitled to damages for physical, financial, and psychological harm. We will fight to hold businesses and organizations liable if they enabled the abuse or failed to take reasonable measures to prevent it, including:
- Boy Scouts of America
- The Catholic Church
- The Southern Baptist Convention
- Churches and other religious organizations
- Truckstops
- Motels and hotels
- Shipping companies

Rideshare Sexual Assault
When using rideshare services like Uber and Lyft, passengers have a right to a safe journey free from the threat of sexual assault by drivers or other passengers. Unfortunately, the problem of rideshare sexual assault has grown so much that many cases have been consolidated for multidistrict litigation (MDL) in federal court.

Asbestos Exposure
If you have been diagnosed with mesothelioma, you were almost certainly exposed to asbestos, a known carcinogen, at some point during your lifetime. Our experienced mesothelioma lawyers can identify the source of your exposure and file a mesothelioma lawsuit against the companies that manufactured and sold the asbestos to which you were exposed.

Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC)
NEC is a devastating gastrointestinal illness most commonly seen in premature infants. Scientific research has found that infants who receive milk-based formula have a higher risk of contracting this deadly condition. Our attorneys are dedicated to helping you hold baby formula manufacturers liable for failure to provide adequate warnings and for providing a defective product.

Ozempic Weight Loss Drugs
Ozempic is a brand name for semaglutide, a diabetes drug that is now prescribed for weight loss. Semaglutide is also sold under the names Wegovy and Rybelsus. Side effects include delayed emptying of the stomach (gastroparesis), nausea, and vomiting. These effects may persist after you stop taking the drug. Some patients have died. If you or your loved one experienced any of these negative side effects from Ozempic or similar drugs, we can help.

Social Media Exposure in Minors
We represent young adults and parents of teens and children who have experienced psychological harm from using social media platforms, such as Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok. The harmful effects of social media platforms include social media addiction, eating disorders, depression, and suicide, among others. We are dedicated to helping parents and young adults hold social media platforms accountable.

Hair Relaxers
Hair relaxers are chemical products used to straighten hair. A massive, years-long study by Boston University found that postmenopausal Black women who used hair straighteners more than twice a year or for more than five years had a 50 percent higher risk of uterine cancer. This dangerous product disproportionately affects Black women because they are statistically more likely to use them. If you or your loved one developed cancer after using a hair relaxer product, we can help you file suit against the manufacturer.

Paraquat
Paraquat is an herbicide sold under the brand name Gramoxone, which has been linked to Parkinson’s disease. If you or your loved one developed Parkinson’s and were exposed to Paraquat in the past, you may be eligible for compensation. We can evaluate your case and determine whether your Parkinson’s disease is connected to Paraquat exposure. If so, we can file a lawsuit on your behalf against the manufacturer, Syngenta, and the distributor, Chevron.

Talcum Powder
Talcum powder is the main ingredient in many cosmetic products, most notably Johnson & Johnson’s Baby Powder. The base ingredient of talcum powder is talc, which is also used in industrial applications as a dry lubricant.
Talc is a non-toxic mineral, but it is often contaminated with asbestos. As a result, you could inhale or ingest asbestos while using talc-containing products. You may be eligible for a talcum powder lawsuit if you contracted mesothelioma or ovarian cancer after being exposed to industrial or cosmetic talc.

Hernia Mesh Products
Hernia mesh is one of the most common products used in hernia repair surgeries, but it has also been associated with severe injuries that result in organ damage and invasive revision surgeries. As of May of 2024, over 28,200 lawsuits had been filed against the manufacturers and distributors of hernia mesh products in mass tort cases, including:
- Davol, Inc.
- C.R. Bard, Inc.
- Covidien
- Ethicon

PFAS/AFFF
PFAS chemicals are dangerous compounds used in aqueous film-forming foam (AFFF) to suppress fires. Military personnel and firefighters may develop cancer and other deadly diseases as a result of repeated exposure to these chemicals. Numerous manufacturers provided PFAS-laden AFFF to firefighters. If you or your loved one developed cancer after being exposed to AFFF, we can identify the responsible companies and hold them accountable.

Roundup
The Bayer Corporation has already paid over $10 billion in Roundup lawsuit settlements to people who developed non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma after the company failed to warn them about the risk of cancer from using the product. If you or your loved one were diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and have used Roundup, contact us immediately to schedule a free case review. You could be eligible for significant financial compensation.

- Johnson v. Heilig-Meyers Corporation
- Chamberlain v. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama
